JT Rootbeer
Vanilla aroma with accents of licorice and spice. Finishes with a refreshing, citrus undertone.

Ingredients:
- ¼ tsp. vanilla extract
- ½ tsp. cinnamon
- ½ tsp. coriander
- ½ of one star anise
- ¼ cup of orange zest
- Fermented kombucha
Materials:
- 32 oz. glass mason jar
- Funnel
- Mesh strainer
Directions:
- Place funnel on top of jar opening.
- Place mesh strainer on top of funnel.
- Pour fermented kombucha into the jar. Leave 2 in. headspace.
- Add 1/4 tsp. vanilla extract to jar.
- Add 1/2 tsp. cinnamon to jar.
- Add ½ tsp. coriander to jar.
- Add ½ of 1 star anise to jar.
- Add ¼ cup of orange zest to jar.
- Close lid and allow the kombucha to ferment for 1-4 days.
- Store jar in a cool place.
- After 1-4 days, place finished jar in refrigerator to slow second fermentation.
